Overview

Opportunity type: We are hoping to partner with young passionate organic farmer/s on our 95 acres plot in Glenburn, the land which was last used prior to the 2009 fires in the area for cattle grazing. It now has roughly 40 acres of teatree scrub and some open pasture. The land is hilly with elevations from 330 metres to 440 metres.

The wish is to use it in an organic/regenerative/ chemical free fashion, doing mixed agriculture, turning some of the pasture to market gardens. We will be on site few days a week. There is rentable accommodation on site. We would be starting from scratch and are open to ideas and have some a few projects in mind, and are looking at a co-operative/share arrangement

Short-term vision: Return to production (pasture and market garden opportunity)

Long term vision: Mixed production
