Situated on 25-acres on the majestic Macleay River near Kempsey NSW, this farm has been in production for 13 years operating as a commercial Organic horticultural farm. They have established infrastructure, equipment and an irrigation licence and live on a tarmac road 12kms from town.
The owners have reached a point in their lives where we no longer want to grow anything commercially but would love the opportunity to share what we have set up on this farm with others who share our passion for giving back to the land.
For the right couple/person, they are are offering:
a self- contained cottage,
access to farming equipment including a tractor,
farm land for growing crop/vegetables and other opportunities in farming by negotiation,
Wi-fi, and electricity.
This opportunity is being offered in exchange for 2 days’ work per week on site to grow and operate the home vegetable garden and orchards including assisting with general weeding around the farm.
The owners also own another 100 acres next door where they agist cattle and we are open to negotiate how this land is farmed.
Seeking a couple/person who dreams of having their own farm one day and in the meantime would like to start farming in partnership - there is a huge potential on offer for sharing this land
